Offering individual and couples therapy online in Delaware…
Telehealth video therapy is now widely used…
… in the fields of mental health, medical care, and personal/life coaching.
And that’s a good thing because the overwhelming majority of people who use it are thrilled with the results.
I now see well over half of my patients through telehealth.
Admittedly, I was a bit skeptical at first.
It was hard to imagine that remote therapy could be as effective as traditional, in-person therapy. I thought something would get “lost in translation.”
But now that I’ve done it, I realize those initial concerns were dead wrong. Telehealth works great – even as well as face-to-face therapy in an office.
That’s not just my experience. Studies have shown that telehealth therapy is as effective as its in-person counterpart.
Here’s how it works…
It’s simple!
All you need is a computer or smartphone.
All I need is your email address, which I’ll use to send you a link to join our appointment.
When you click the link, it’ll open our session on a platform called doxy.me, which doctors worldwide use. It’s like Zoom, but it’s more secure (HIPAA-compliant) and has better video quality.
As long as you’re in Delaware, we can work together. Soon, though, I’ll be a part of a compact (“PSYCHPACT”) that lets me offer online therapy to anyone in 23 states. Please give me a call to see if you’re eligible!
Ready to give it a try?
If not, I’m happy to meet you in person in my home office.
But if you want to get all the benefits of therapy without having to dress up, get a babysitter, make a commute, or pay for parking, I encourage you to try telehealth.
I love the flexibility and convenience, and I think you will, too.
If you still have questions or would like to schedule a free consultation, give me a call: (610) 209-8571.
